The PEARLS Workplace Coach certification affirms your coaching mastery.
This coaching credential serves to communicate that you have achieved the neccesary industry standards for Workplace Coaching with no uncertainty. Your coachees can feel secure in knowing that their credentialed coach brings credibility, training, experience and excellence to the coaching relationship, fully acknowledging your role as the Organisation Leader and also as their personal workplace coach.
Certification Process
There are 2 components in the certification. These are (1) PEARLS Visual Panel Practical Exam and (2) PEARLS Coaching Oral Assessment. These need to be taken in sequence and the candidate will need to pass both in order to receive the certifcation.
The PEARLS Visual Panel Practical Exam is a paper submission over email which tests your ability to integrate the different PEARLS Coaching components and design a coaching conversation in the workplace. It is a mock scenario where you determine the conversation sequence of a coach and a coachee. The flow of the conversation must be credible and demonstrate a good mix of the PEARLS Quartz Skills and a fair exploration of PEARLS Hexes.
The PEARLS Coaching Oral Assessment is a role-play scenario in wherein your examiner will play the coachee’s role and whereby you will play the role of the coach. You will be coaching the ‘examiner/coachee’ based on a scenario provided. The coachee scenario will provide notes from the coachee’s ‘Wheel of Work’ segment from an imaginary preceding coaching session.
